Senior Leadership

Edwin Lau serves as Vice President and Controller of Solaris Water and brings almost 20 years of accounting, treasury management and financial reporting experience. Before Solaris Water he served as Vice President and Controller of Solaris Oilfield Infrastructure, LLC until its listing on the New York Stock Exchange in May 2017. Prior to Solaris, Edwin served as the Controller of Cadre Proppants, a frac sand mining company that was backed by Denham Capital Management. Earlier in his career, Edwin served as Assistant Controller for J.B. Poindexter & Co. Inc, a diversified international manufacturing company, and for Ryland Homes – Houston. Edwin also has three years of public accounting experience with Ernst & Young LLP, where he provided audit and advisory services to clients in both the public and private sector.

He is a certified public accountant and holds both a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and a Master’s in Professional Accounting from the University of Texas at Austin.
