Brenda R. Schroer
Chief Financial Officer
Brenda Schroer is the Chief Financial Officer of Solaris Water and has over 20 years of energy experience across the financial function including multi-billion-dollar acquisitions and divestitures, a deep technical knowledge of financial and SEC filings/requirements, ESG/sustainability reporting along with digital transformation and cybersecurity. Brenda previously served as Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer for Concho Resources Inc., a Fortune 500 independent oil and gas company until their acquisition by ConocoPhillips. Prior to Concho, Brenda spent over a decade working with Ernst & Young in their Dallas, London and New York offices including her most recent role working in the EY’s National Practice focusing on oil and gas consultation and publications.
Brenda currently serves on the board of Antero Resources Corporation (NYSE:AR) as the audit committee chairman and previously served as a board member of Solaris Water overseeing Concho’s equity ownership.
She is a Certified Public Accountant in the state of Texas. She has her master’s degree from Texas A&M University and her bachelor’s degree from West Texas A&M University. In 2020, she was recognized as “25 Influential Women in Energy” by Hart Energy and “The Global Female Influencer 275” by the Energy Council.
